Malta 2013/14

 Malta

<--- This is Malta! The streets were quite wide but the actual pathways were usually narrow.

This is a view at night time. What do you think it is like to live here?

Does it remind you of anywhere? The restaurants and cafes were open until about 11pm/midnight, so you could pop in for some ice-cream or a cake when it was really late!

I visited the neighboring island of Gozo. What do you think of the landscape? What kinds of foods might be popular in Maltese culture?

The walls around Valletta were really high! There were lots of underground tunnels in old buildings...
The main religion in Malta is Catholicism. In the main cities, there are lots of old churches and religious sculptures.

The landscape at one of the beaches.

I really enjoyed Malta's food and drink. I even tried banana juice! My favourite foods were the little pastries and cakes though.

I also saw the President whilst I was there!
